VTS in New York City

VTS has a long history in New York City, with its roots beginning at MoMA. Since 2006, the establishment of VTS programs in city public schools has been gaining momentum.

Thanks to gifts from the HILO Foundation, The New York Community Trust, the Matisse Foundation, and A & A Fund, we have been able to subsidize starting costs for many schools, as well as provide classroom teachers with initial VTS training in museums across the city.
